We drove from Minnesota to Montana and stopped to check out the Badlands in South Dakota.  They are pretty sweet.

We got into the park right around sunset on a beautiful day.  I got a few shots of the moon rising over the freaky sandstone bluffs.

We got a little hiking in but we couldn't go far because soon it was too dark to see anything.  I got a good sunset shot, though.

This is the first time I've used the time-delay function on my camera, and it works pretty well!  This is how the moon looked well after sunset.

We liked hiking in the Badlands so much that we decided to spend an extra day there.  Unfortunately, the batteries on the digital camera went dead so we had to record the next day's adventures with a disposable 35MM camera.  My scanner is broken right now so I can't post those pictures just yet, but I'll be putting them up as soon as I get the scanner fixed.
