One of the first things I did when we got to
Montana was take a nap! Ahh, there's nothing like a nice dog-skin
pillow. |
Next we drove to Spokane, Washington. On the way
there we passed through Wallace, Idaho, where prostitution was legal
until only about ten years ago. This sign was posted in a park we
stopped at. Too bad we didn't have the dogs with us... |

In Spokane we went to visit our
best friends, Tim and Maren Engh. They let us stay in their house,
which is here, with them standing in front of it. Thanks guys! |
Here's a picture of the four of us, on Tim and Maren's
back porch, just before we went out to Tony Roma's. You don't
really appreciate Tony Roma's until you've lived outside the country for
ten years. |

Tim and I decided to be hippies for a day and went
folfing at the awesome course in Spokane. Folfing is "Frisbee
golfing" in case you don't know. Unlike the other folfers
there that day, we didn't smoke any weed.

Ninth hole, par three.
The basket is way down at the end of the dirt path, just in front of the
water. I actually made this one in two shots! |

When we got back to Mom's house, we had dinner with
Jean, Jack, Dan, Vicky, Mom, and Grandma. Once again, nobody
smoked any weed.
Grandma played the piano, like
she usually does, and it was awesome. I think this is quite
possibly the first picture of her ever on the Internet (except for the
one above). |

After Grandma played solo, Tanya joined her for some
Chopsticks. She needed a little coaching, however, so Mom and
Vicky volunteered to help.

Dude! Check out the
sideburns! I would wear them like this all the time if I could! |
